Group #1 Practice Notes

Todd Gilliland – Right when practice started, Todd Gilliland backed his car into the wall. The damage wasn’t too severe.

Josh Bilicki – Right when practice resumed following the Gilliland caution, Bilicki crashed hard into the inside wall and got a lot of damage. He’ll be going to a backup car.

Ryan Blaney – In group #1, Blaney had the best 10 and 15 lap averages. Blaney said his car was pretty decent and his team made a good adjustment in practice that got him in the ballpark.

Austin Dillon – Early in practice, the #3 team mentioned that Austin Dillon had good grip. His center exit was said to be looking really good compared to other cars. Dillon wasn’t very high on the speed chart and his 10-lap average ranked 16th of 18 drivers.

Justin Haley – Early in practice, Justin Haley who was in 2nd at the time said, “It feels good. Started getting aero tight.” Haley had the 9th best 10 lap average.

Austin Cindric – Early in practice, Austin Cindric was running the quick lap times. Cindric said he had a fast car in an interview. His 10 lap average was the 11th best.
