Group #1 Practice

Kevin Harvick – Kevin Harvick had a flat tire early in the first group. His rear diffused was damaged, and Harvick didn’t get to qualify since his team was making repairs.

Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick was posting quick lap times early in the session. Reddick had the best 10 lap average for the group. His team reported that his car was pretty good. He was happy with how his car was driving in an interview. He said they just need to make some small balance changes.

Ross Chastain – At the start of practice, Ross Chastain was at the top of the speed chart. His opening run was 5 laps and then he came in for adjustments. Ross Chastain liked his car, he wanted his front end to be in the track a little more.

Justin Haley – Early in practice, Justin Haley said, “Super tight, no left front grip in either corner.”

William Byron – His opening run was 10 laps. Following his run which put him 11th in the first group he said, “decent but a little snug in 3 and 4.”
