The Low Tier – Pocono
Cody Ware – Last year at Pocono, Cody Ware was by far the most competitive low tier performer and for the season his results were 25th and 28th. Will he repeat those results, probably not but I would feel comfortable viewing him as a high-twenties to low-thirties performer. Since May over the ten combined races, Ware has a 28.4 average finish.
JJ Yeley – JJ Yeley seems to have a knack for finishing a little better than his equipment, but you can still just pencil him in as a high-twenties to low-thirties driver. Over Yeley’s last three races he’s participated in heading into the weekend, he’s 3 for 3 at finishing between 28th to 31st. At Pocono when Yeley last raced there in 2020, his results for the season were 28th and 31st.
Josh Bilicki – Josh Bilicki has been consistent at Pocono but unfortunately that’s not a good thing. At “The Tricky Triangle”, Bilicki is 5 for 5 at finishing between 32nd to 35th. Last year during the doubles, Bilicki had results of 34th and 35th. Over the eight races he’s participated in since May, Bilicki has a 32.0 average finish.
BJ McLeod – BJ McLeod pilots the least competitive car on the track, week in and week out and at Pocono, that trend won’t end. Heading into the weekend, McLeod has back-to-back 36th’s and since Dover minus Charlotte where the attrition rate was sky high, McLeod has a 33.9 average finish. Last year at Pocono during the double’s, McLeod had results of 29th and 30th.
