The Low Tier – Talladega
Landon Cassill – If you’re looking for a low-tier option, I would recommend you look at Landon Cassill. He recently finished 4th at Daytona and for the season across the three races at big superspeedways, Cassill’s average finish is 12.6. At Talladega over his last three races, Cassill has a 19th place average finish. This spring, Cassill finished 19th.
JJ Yeley – At Talladega over his last two starts, JJ Yeley has a pair of mid-twenties finishes. This spring he finished 25th, and in spring 2021 he finished 26th. In his three Talladega starts prior to that, Yeley finished 36th or worse. Other than Talladega this spring, Yeley has competed in no other races at big superspeedways in 2022.
BJ McLeod – Attrition will be BJ McLeod’s friend and if enough of it occurs and he dodges the carnage, a miracle could happen like his 7th at Daytona a few weeks ago. At Talladega, McLeod has four starts under his belt and he’s 4 for 4 at finishing between 25th to 31st. Over the last four combined events his average finish is 28th. This spring, McLeod finished 26th.
Cody Ware – Cody Ware has been consistent at Talladega. Ware has three straight 28th’s, and in 4 of the last 5 he’s finished 28th. This spring, Ware finished 28th.
