Notable: Daniel Hemric had an extra-long pit stop during the competition caution to work on his car more. He was running in 23rd just prior to the competition caution. It dropped him to the back.
Notable: Kyle Larson pitted twice during the competition caution due to a vibration. He was in 5th prior to the competition caution.
Notable: Kyle Busch had a long pit stop during the competition caution to work on a transmission issue.
Notable: On lap 37 while running back in 25th, Cole Custer had a single car spin and brought out the caution. Custer didn’t hit anything.
Notable: On lap 43 during the restart for the Cole Custer caution, Kyle Busch and Justin Haley both spun. This brought out a caution.

Notable: On lap 62, Tyler Reddick spun into the grass which brought out a caution. Reddick was running in 15th at the time. His car got a little airborne but overall, I would deem it wasn’t damaged.
Notable: During the Tyler Reddick caution, Martin Truex Jr. who was in 3rd got an equipment interference penalty for his pit stop when a tire got away from his team.
Notable: On lap 72 while running in 6th, Denny Hamlin felt like his power steering was broken.

During the Stage #1 caution, Brad Keselowski took two tires and got the lead. It jumped him up 11 positions. McDowell also used pit strategy at this time which got him to the front.

Big: On lap 104 while running around 8th, Brad Keselowski got loose and Ryan Blaney who was right behind him hit the door of the #6 and got a lot of damage to his nose.

Big: On lap 135, Austin Cindric spun which brought out the caution. Chase Briscoe also spun at this time right in front of Cindric. They were both running around the high-teens. Neither of them appeared to get any level of notable damage from this incident. Following this incident, Briscoe took his car to the garage, so something was clearly wrong for the #14 at this point.
Notable: Denny Hamlin who was in 2nd had a long pit stop during the Briscoe/ Cindric caution. It was a pit stop mistake.
Notable: During the Briscoe/ Cindric caution, Alex Bowman who was running in 4th got an equipment interference penalty.
Big: Christopher Bell spun while running in 3rd on lap on lap 142. Bell had a flat tire at this time and the #20 was really bouncing as he was limping back to pit road. Eventually the tire shredded.
