Overall following his first run he said, “Solid.” Late in practice, Dale Earnhardt Jr. said that he thought Chase Elliott had the best of the championship cars. Jeff Burton thought Chase Elliott looked to be the best of the championship #4. Elliott had the 2nd best 15-lap average.

Logano was keeping tight lipped about what he was working on in practice. Dale Earnhardt Jr. thought the #22 looked to be the best championship car about 3/4th’s thru practice. Late in practice, Logano said he was tight. Logano had the 3rd best 20 lap average.
