Notable: On lap 4 while running around 24th, Tyler Reddick spun in the middle of turns 3 and 4 which brought out the first caution. Reddick didn’t hit anything.

Notable: On lap 156, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finally came to pit road. While he was on entry, Stenhouse slide up the track and hit Martin Truex Jr. Stenhouse then had to make an extra lap. Truex was running around 12th at the time. Stenhouse also then got a speeding penalty. Truex told his team a few laps later that his car was fine.

Around lap 172, planned green flag pit stops for Stage #2 once again started.
Notable: During green flag pit stops around lap 180, Christopher Bell was penalized for a crew member going over the wall too soon. He had to do a pass thru penalty. Bell was running around the mid-teens just prior to that.

Big: On lap 184, Ty Gibbs came to pit road and his crew popped up his hood. It was an engine issue. This marked the end of his race. Gibbs was running in 20th just two laps earlier.
