The cup cars will be on track this afternoon for practice followed by qualifying starting at 3:30et on FS2. We’re going to look to get our profitable weekend started early this week with a couple to win the pole bets.
During practice and qualifying, sportsbooks generally lock the odds and reopen with adjusted lines after all of the on-track activities shake out. There’s one driver I want to be sure to add now because I expect him to be fast in practice and qualify well. Throw in a strong track history and you can expect his odds to get much shorter than where they currently are.
Bet: Kyle Busch to win the race (+1400)
Kyle Busch is no stranger to success at Martinsville having two wins on his resume. He has finished inside of the top ten in 4 out of his last 5 races here. Going a little further back, he has 4 top-five finishes in his last ten races at the track nicknamed “The Paper Clip.” I won’t continue to bore you with stats, just know Kyle is good here and I expect this line to be shorter before the green flag waves.
