Tyler Reddick who won the pole selected to start in the top line.
Joey Logano who qualified in 2nd started in the inside row. Logano had a great launch at the start and led the opening two laps.
On lap 3, Alex Bowman passed Joey Logano for the lead using the outside groove. Bowman then led the next 25 laps.

Following the completion of lap 25, the competition caution came out.
Tyler Reddick won the race off pit road following the competition caution and then led the next 38 laps.

During the competition caution: Chase Briscoe, Brad Keselowski and Martin Truex Jr. were caught speeding on pit road which dropped them to the back. Denny Hamlin got an equipment interference penalty and Noah Gragson pitted twice because of a loose wheel.

Big: On lap 63, Chris Buescher was shown to be coming to pit road for an unexpected pit stop. Buescher was running in the top ten. He got into the wall.
Big: While leading on lap 65, Tyler Reddick got into the wall and brought out the caution. Reddick had a tire go down. Reddick’s race was over after this.
On pit road during the Reddick caution, Austin Dillon took two tires and got the lead. Alex Bowman had problems leaving his pit stall after doing a two-tire pit stop when Chase Briscoe got in the way on exit, and it dropped the #48 back 5 positions.

Notable: Ryan Blaney made a second pit stop under caution for the Stage #1 caution. He finished 2nd in Stage #1 and it dropped him to the back. It was to tighten a wheel. Bubba Wallace also pitted twice.

Big: While running in 2nd on lap 110, Stenhouse had a tire go down and slammed into the wall hard.
