The Low Tier – New Hampshire
Ryan Newman – At New Hampshire, Ryan Newman will be racing the Rick Ware Racing #15. At “The Magic Mile”, Newman has 3-wins and 20 top tens, but we’re talking about Newman in a Rick Ware Racing car, so absolutely nothing good is going to happen. In 2023, we’ve seen Newman in action twice. Newman finished 28th at Darlington and then All-Star Weekend in the Open he finished 12th out of 16 cars.
Cole Custer – At New Hampshire, look for Cole Custer to be a high-twenties and plus driver in the #51. This isn’t a competitive car, and Custer is no miracle worker. At New Hampshire back in his old ride the #41, Cole Custer had a 28th place average finish. Last year he finished 26th, and then in 2021 he finished 30th.
BJ McLeod – This weekend, there’s no doubt that BJ McLeod will be fielding the least competitive car on the track. McLeod has the worst Total Speed Ranking in the series on this track type in 2023 and his average finish between the two races he’s competed is 31.5. At New Hampshire, McLeod crashed on lap 4 last year and finished 36th, and then in his other three starts his finishes are 30th, 34th and 34th.
