The Low Tier – Pocono
JJ Yeley – At Pocono, JJ Yeley will be returning to the Rick Ware Racing #15. I think Yeley is perhaps the best driver who’s ever driven for the organization at this point. Currently, Yeley has seven straight top 30 results, and that has to be a record. Over that stretch minus the two superspeedways which will skew his stats, Yeley has a 24th place average finish. Last year at Pocono in the #15, Yeley finished 28th. On Sunday, I think Yeley might just have mid 20’s potential.
Cole Custer – Cole Custer will be making his last planned Rick Ware Racing start of the year, at the time of this writing at Pocono. So far in their equipment, Custer has results of 32nd (Atlanta) and 35th (New Hampshire). Last year at Pocono in the SHR #41, Custer finished 17th. On Sunday, I think he has high-twenties potential, at best!
BJ McLeod – At Pocono, BJ McLeod can pretty much so be penciled in for a result around 30th. McLeod finished in 30th last year, and in 2021 during the doubles he had finishes of 29th and 30th. In 5 of the last 6 races heading into the weekend, McLeod has finished between 29th to 32nd.
