Notable: On lap 42 the first caution came out. Harrison Burton had a flat tire at this time and was shown to be coming to pit road and JJ Yeley also had a flat tire.
During the first caution, six drivers didn’t pit. Brad Keselowski who didn’t pit got the lead and then led the next 83 laps. Drivers who stayed out were Keselowski, Wallace, Reddick, Buescher, LaJoie and Suarez.

Notable: On lap 83, Austin Cindric had a flat tire, slammed into the wall and made an unexpected pit stop. He was running around 23rd at the time. Cindric told his team he had contact with nobody. This dropped him four laps down.

Big: On lap 90, Ryan Blaney had a flat tire. Blaney said it went down, “Random.” Blaney was running around 5th. When Blaney left his pit stall, a tire rolled off the #12.
Big: On lap 90, Aric Almirola spun which brought out the caution. Almirola was running around 10th.
Following the lap 90 caution, Chris Buescher told his team that his car was really good.
Notable: Following the caution around lap 90, Joey Logano came to pit road twice. It was to tighten a wheel. Logano was running in the high-teens prior to his problem.

Big: On lap 104, the #12 was sparking while logging laps. He was in 32nd, two laps down at the time. Blaney said it felt like something was bent and he was way off pace. On lap 112, Blaney came back to pit road for further repair. When Blaney returned to the track, he was even slower and said his toe link was broken.

Big: On lap 176, Bubba Wallace had a major power steering issue and then came to pit road. Wallace was in 4th a lap earlier.
Big: On lap 184, Ty Gibbs was being shown coming to pit road to make an unexpected pit stop. He was running around the high 20’s at the time. His team lifted his hood at that time to try to make power steering repairs.
Big: On lap 185, Ryan Blaney was now shown to be in the garage area for repair.

Big: During the Burton/Jones caution, Martin Truex Jr. was on pit road and his race was over due to power steering. Truex was in 13th prior to his day being over. His steering locked up.
Notable: Alex Bowman reported that he started having power steering issues during the Burton/Jones caution. Bowman was running in 7th at the time.
