Group A Practice Notes

Kyle Larson – Late in Group A, Kyle Larson hit the wall hard. Larson went to the garage for repair and didn’t post a qualifying lap. Larson had the 8th best 5-lap average in Group B. Larson said he got loose and overcorrected when he got into the wall. Larson will be racing a backup car on Sunday.

Tyler Reddick – The #45 has great speed. Reddick really likes his car this weekend. Reddick had the best 5 and 10-lap averages between both groups.

William Byron – 10 minutes into Group A while he was 15th, Byron said he’s loose everywhere and lacking rear grip. At the end, Byron was said to be happy with his car in the infield portion, but he needs more rear grip.

Ty Dillon – Early in Group A, Ty Dillon got into the wall pretty good and went to the garage. He didn’t post a qualifying lap.

Bubba Wallace – Wallace was logging solid lap times. In Group B, Wallace had the 2nd best 5-lap average. Wallace is really happy with his car this weekend.
