Austin Cindric was strong in the 2023 Daytona 500 but had an asterisk mark result

Austin Cindric, the 2022 Daytona 500 champ had a strong show in the last year’s Daytona 500 but finished an asterisk mark 23rd after wrecking in overtime.

In the race, Cindric had the 4th best average running position, the 5th best Driver Rating, was running in 9th on lap 198 but then crashed in overtime.
