Phoenix NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell tested at Phoenix during the off-season and was a stopwatch standout in practice. The #20 was logging great lap times. In practice, Bell ranked #1 for 15,20,25 and 30 lap averages.
Joey Logano – The #22 unloaded fast at Phoenix and Logano had great speed over the course of a run. Logano ranked 2nd in terms of 15 and 20 lap averages.
Denny Hamlin – The #11 was strong on the stopwatch. 20 minutes into practice while he was 2nd overall, Hamlin radioed his team that he was loose. Denny Hamlin had pretty good long run speed and ranked 5th in terms of 20-lap averages.
Tyler Reddick – The #45 looked to be one of the best in practice. Late in practice, Tyler Reddick spun in a turn. He didn’t hit anything. Reddick ranked 5th in terms of 15-lap averages.
Bubba Wallace – The #23 had good speed. Over his opening long run, Wallace set the best 10-lap average in the practice session.
