Group A Driver Practice Notes

William Byron – William Byron had good speed in practice. Byron had the best 15-lap average and ranked 2nd overall in terms of 30-lap averages among Group A. Byron was reported to be overall happy with his car. When William Byron asked his crew chief how he was doing the response was …. “Real good, real good.”

Chase Briscoe – Chase Briscoe appears to have a pretty good car once again this weekend. Briscoe really liked his car and said its pretty close to where it needs to be. Briscoe had the best 20-lap average overall between both groups.

Alex Bowman – Bowman had one of the fastest cars over a long run in Group A. Bowman had the best 25 and 30 lap averages among the group.

Ryan Preece – The #41 was pretty sporty and had good pace. Preece had the best 10-lap average in Group A. In terms of 20-lap averages he seemed to drop off down to 13th among the group.

Bubba Wallace – Bubba Wallace was strong over the course of a run. Wallace had the 2nd best 25-lap average and the 3rd best 30-lap average in Group A.
