Notable: Chris Buescher had a slow pit stop during his green flag Stage #1 pit stop. He was said to have problems getting out of his stall. It dropped him back nearly 10 positions. He was in 2nd prior to the pit cycle starting.
Big: On lap 42 during the green flag pit cycle but near the end of it, Austin Dillon crashed and brought out the caution. Dillon lost a wheel. This marked the end of his race. Dillon was in 13th shortly before the green flag pit cycle started.

Big: On lap 49 during the restart lap, Alex Bowman and Aric Almirola both spun. Bowman spun into the #10 car. They were both running right around 15th at the time.

Notable: On lap 60 during the restart lap, Kyle Busch who was in 3rd was waving his hand out the window saying he had a flat tire. He quickly fell back to 7th.

Big: On lap 74, Kyle Busch spun out and backed the #8 into the wall and got a lot of damage. Busch was running in 8th at the time. In a post DNF interview, Busch said he had a top five car.
Big: On pit road during the Busch caution, Denny Hamlin and Ty Gibbs collided on pit road. Denny Hamlin was running in the top five at the time, Ty Gibbs was back in the high-teens. This marked the end of the race for Gibbs and Hamlin was able to continue. The #11 was overall OK and not damaged too much. Hamlin told his team his car was definitely damaged but no bad handling effects.
Mixed pit strategy took place during the caution right before the end of Stage #1. Wallace who was leading came in.

Big: On lap 111, Corey LaJoie had a flat tire and spun. His tire shredding caused some damage to the #7. LaJoie was around 27th at the time. LaJoie was able to continue but he was now 2-laps down.
Zane Smith was caught speeding during the Corey LaJoie caution. He was way back in the high 20’s at the time.
