Darlington NASCAR Practice Notes
Group A NASCAR Driver Notes
Noah Gragson – Noah Gragson looked very racy in practice. Gragson had the best 20,25 and 30 Lap Averages in Group A. Gragson was happy with his long run speed.
Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick was logging quick lap times and his 25-lap average ranked as the 2nd best in the Group. Reddick was shown to have gotten into the wall. It shouldn’t be a concern. Reddick liked his car.
Erik Jones – Erik Jones is back at Darlington and he’s reportedly operating at 95%. Erik Jones had pretty good long run speed and in Group A, his 15-lap average ranked as the 4th best. For 10,15,20,25 and 30 lap averages he ranked 10th across the board between both groups.
Christopher Bell – Kevin Harvick liked Christopher Bell’s speed over a long run. Clint Bowyer really liked Bell’s speed too and thought the #20 was the fastest car on the track. In speed charts, Bell didn’t look good so don’t hit the panic button about that.
Chris Buescher – The #17 was logging good lap times and Buescher had the best 10 and 15 lap averages in Group A. Buescher was happy with his fire off speed in practice. Buescher had the 3rd best 15-lap average in the Group.
