WWT Raceway / Gateway NASCAR Practice Notes

NOTE: Both NASCAR practice groups were combined due to weather.

Joey Logano – The #22 unloaded fast and had great speed. Logano had the best 5 and 10 lap averages and ranked 3rd in terms of 15-lap averages. Logano said his car had a lot of speed and feels good.

Ryan Blaney – The #12 was racy and logged good lap times. Blaney had the best 15-lap average. Blaney ranked 3rd in terms of 10-lap averages.

Ty Gibbs – Ty Gibbs had pretty good take off speed and also had good long run speed. Gibbs had the 2nd best 20 and 25-lap averages. Gibbs said his car was pretty good but a little tight during an interview. He was happy with it.

Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick was fast and had good speed over an extended run. Reddick had the 3rd best 20-lap average and the best 25-lap average among drivers who did extended runs of that length.

Denny Hamlin – Denny Hamlin had pretty good speed and his 15-lap average ranked as the 2nd best. Hamlin had the best 20-lap average.
