Big: On lap 15, Kyle Busch spun and got into the wall after racing hard with Ryan Blaney. They were battling for 10th. This marked the end of Busch’s race and led to his 37th (last).
During the Kyle Busch caution, Martin Truex Jr. didn’t pit and got the lead. Truex then led the next 30 laps.

Notable: On lap 103, Ryan Preece was shown to be smoking. Preece was running in 23rd. He had a tire go down.
Notable: During the Preece caution, Denny Hamlin had trouble getting his car going after his pit stop. He eventually got it going. He came in running 5th and it dropped him to the back of the lead lap.

Big: Austin Dillon had a horrendous restart on lap 108. He was in 10th, but he went up the track and was shown to be slow. Dillon then came to pit road. It was a flat tire. It dropped him off the lead lap into the 30’s.
On lap 114 it was mentioned that Truex’s strength was rolling the corners and just turning beneath drivers.
