Group A Drivers

Denny Hamlin – Hamlin unloaded fast and had great speed over a run. In Group A, Hamlin had the 2nd best 10 lap average, the best 15 lap average and the 2nd best 20-lap average.

Tyler Reddick – The #45 was fast and had good speed. Reddick had the best 10-lap average in Group A. Reddick said his car was really solid. Reddick scrubbed the wall. He really liked his speed prior to Stenhouse getting into the wall.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – 5-minutes into practice while he was 3rd overall after running 7 laps, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. spun and had contact with the inside wall. Stenhouse said his setup was good in a post-crash interview.

Brad Keselowski – Keselowski had good long run speed and had the best 20-lap average in Group A.

Erik Jones – Erik Jones was fast and was at the top of the leaderboard early in practice. Jones was one of three drivers who never made a 10-lap run.
