Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Kansas #1 2024
Austin Cindric – This spring at Kansas, Austin Cindric finished 37th but you can get out an asterisk mark for that result. “Performance Wise”, I would argue Cindric looked like a low double-digit to mid-teens driver. In the race, Cindric had the 12th best Total Speed Ranking but then on lap 184 while running in 13th, he crashed.
Joey Logano – This spring, Joey Logano looked to be about a mid-teen’s performer but in the last Stage on lap 198 while running in 16th, Logano spun, had flat tires and was then stuck on the track which doomed him to a 34th. It wasn’t a pretty race, but he did seem to be getting better as the race went along.
Ty Gibbs – Ty Gibbs was fast this spring but as the race went on, the #54’s level of performance dropped off and it got so bad, Gibbs made a late unexpected pit stop. In the race, Gibbs finished 6th in the two Opening Stages, had a 9th place average running position and had the 10th best Total Speed Ranking. In terms of his speed over segments, Gibbs had speed rankings of 4th, 6th, 14th and then 22nd.
