Group A NASCAR Driver Notes

Chase Elliott – Chase Elliott had good pace over a run. About 15-minutes into practice, the #9 was thought to be down a cylinder. Elliott had the 2nd best 15-lap average in Group A.

Alex Bowman – Alex Bowman had good long run speed. Bowman looked really good running the high-line. In Group A, Bowman had the best 15 and 20-lap averages.

Denny Hamlin – Hamlin looked pretty good in practice and had good speed over the course of a run. In Group A, Hamlin ranked 3rd in terms of 20,25 and 30-lap averages.

Ty Gibbs – The #54 had good speed over a run. Gibbs had the 2nd best 20-lap average and ranked 1st for 25 and 30-lap averages in Group A. Gibbs was happy with his car during an interview.

William Byron – The #24 had good speed. Byron had the best 10-lap average.
