Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Charlotte Roval 2023
Austin Cindric – Austin Cindric had a solid showing last year at the Roval but finished 23rd but you can get out an asterisk mark for that result. On lap 88 while running in 10th, Cindric was spun and it dropped him all the way back to the 30’s. If his race would’ve been incident free, I think he was likely poised to finish right around that mark.
Chase Briscoe – Chase Briscoe finished 28th last year at the Charlotte Roval but you can get out an asterisk mark for that result. Late in the race, Briscoe logged a good number of laps around the low double-digits to mid-teens and he was even in 14th on lap 100 (109 lap race) but something then happened to him back in traffic because on lap 105, he was back in 24th.
Daniel Suarez – Last year, Daniel Suarez ran pretty well but his afternoon nosedived late. In the race, Suarez had an 11.3 average running position, the 12th best Total Speed Ranking but then late in the race on lap 94 while running in 11th, Bell got into the back of the #99 and Suarez crashed which doomed him to a 33rd.
