Joey Logano who won the pole led the opening two laps.
On lap 2, Kyle Larson took the lead and then led the next 10 laps.
Big: On lap 4 while running in 24th, Zane Smith got into the wall and bent his toe link. He then immediately came to pit road which dropped him quite a few laps down.

Big: On lap 10, Christopher Bell who was back around 18th had a tire down that was smoking and it brought out the first caution. It did damage to the #20 as it shredded.
Notable: During the opening round of pit stops, Todd Gilliland was penalized for his team going over the wall too soon and it dropped him from the high 20’s to the back.
During the first caution, William Byron’s #24 was said to be unpredictable and was getting tight.

During the restart on lap 17, William Byron passed 7-cars and took the lead. Byron then led the next 14 laps.

Big: On lap 27, Chris Buescher lost a wheel and pounded the wall. Buescher was in 7th at the time, and it brought out a caution. During the first caution, Buescher only took right side tires which got him the lead. He had a loose wheel. This was an extended caution which brought out a red flag to repair the wall.
During the Buescher caution, Suarez, McDowell, Nemechek and Yeley didn’t pit which got them to the front.

Notable: On lap 47, William Byron who was in 14th had a big trash bag on his grille and was reported to be overheating. On lap 48 he made an unexpected pit stop to get it off. This dropped him 1 lap down.

Notable: On lap 122, Austin Cindric got a speeding penalty for being too fast entering. Cindric was around 14th prior to his penalty. Daniel Hemric also got a speeding penalty at this time. Hemric was running around 32nd prior to his penalty. Ross Chastain got a speeding penalty during this round of pit stops too and he was running around 8th prior to pitting.
Big: During his green flag pit stop, Bubba Wallace had a lug nut issue that dropped him 3 laps down. He was running around 18th prior to his problem.

Notable: Ty Gibbs had lug nut problems during the Bell caution and got an uncontrolled tire penalty. Gibbs was in 5th prior to his problem. Gibbs was also mentioned to have lost first gear.
Notable: Kyle Busch had a lug nut issue with his pit stop that dropped him from 2nd to 18th during the Bell caution.
