Big: On lap 55 while running in 3rd, Kyle Larson had sudden flat tire and slammed into the wall hard which marked the end of his race. As he was coming down the track after getting into the wall, Chase Briscoe nailed him. Briscoe was running around 14th at the time. This accident marked the end of Stage #1.

Notable: Christopher Bell was penalized for pitting outside of his box during a debris caution around lap 116. This dropped him to the back. He was running around the high-teens at the time.

The accident started when Chastain was backing up after getting into the wall and then Wallace got into him.
