Group 1 NASCAR Driver Practice Notes
Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney was fast and was the class of the field in Group 1. In Group 1, Blaney ranked #1 for 10,15,20,25 and 30-lap averages. Blaney seemed to be pretty happy with his car. Carl Edwards liked what he seen from the #12.
Carson Hocevar – Carson Hocevar unloaded fast and climbed up to the top of the leaderboard early. In Group 1, Hocevar had the 2nd best 10-lap average and the 2nd best 25-lap average. Hocevar seemed to be pretty happy with his car.
Chris Buescher – Buescher told his team that he’s in the game. In Group 1, Buescher ranked 7th for 10 and 15-lap averages.
Austin Cindric – Austin Cindric had solid pace. In practice, Cindric ranked 2nd in Group 1 in terms of 30-lap averages. He ranked 6th for 15-lap averages.
Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson didn’t show blazing pace in practice. In Group 1 he ranked 8th in terms of 15-lap averages. He didn’t post a 20-lap average. His 10-lap average was the 9th best in the Group.
