Kyle Larson started on the pole and he led the opening lap. On lap 2, Blaney passed him for the lead and then led the next 8 laps.

On lap 4, the first caution came out when Corey LaJoie spun. LaJoie was running in 20th at the time.

On lap 10 during the restart, Kyle Larson re-passed Blaney for the lead and then led the next 45 laps.

On lap 16, Brad Keselowski who started 5th had already fallen all the way back to 18th. He complained about chattering his tires and his car was way too loose.

On lap 24, Denny Hamlin who was in 28th wasn’t happy with his car. Hamlin started the race in 10th. He said his car was plowing.

Big: On lap 51 while running back in the mid 20’s, AJ Allmendinger got into the wall which brought out a caution. He had a tire going down.

During the Allmendinger caution, Suarez and Keselowski didn’t pit which got them running 1-2. It was a “Late in the stage and hoping to get points” play.

Notable: During the Allmendinger caution, Justin Haley got a pit penalty that dropped him from the top ten back into the 30’s.
