Bowman Gray 2025 – Chase Elliott vs Ryan Blaney

Last year at Bowman Gray, the 1st‑ and 2nd‑place finishers had completely different evenings.

Winner Chase Elliott started on the pole and put on a display of domination. Elliott led 171 laps, had a perfect Driver Rating, had a 1.3 average running position, and ranked No. 1 in every Speed Analytic.

Ryan Blaney, who finished 2nd, had to use the 2024 Points Provisional just to make the field. But once the green flag dropped, Blaney methodically worked his way forward, reaching 3rd on lap 130. Imagine if Blaney didn’t start last which greatly increased his level of difficulty.
