Ryan Blaney won the race off pit road following the Stage #1 caution. He took two tires. He was followed off by Byron and then Hamlin.

Notable: On lap 72, the first non-Stage caution came out when John H Nemechek who was already a lap down in 30th spun.

On lap 80 during a restart, Denny Hamlin shot to the lead and then led the next 109 laps.

Big: On lap 90, Bubba Wallace who was in the mid 20’s at the time was well off pace. It was some sort of engine/ electrical sensor issue. He eventually went to pit road to try to fix the issue.

Big: On lap 106, Shane van Gisbergen spun which brought out a caution. He was running in 31st at the time. Also at this time under caution, Chase Briscoe had a tire failure. Briscoe was in 5th at the time. This dropped Briscoe down to 32nd but he was still on the lead lap.

On lap 119, it was mentioned that something was really vibrating with Briscoe’s #19 so he just stayed at the back and didn’t try to move forward in the running order.

Big: Around lap 145 while running in 20th, Kyle Busch had a flat tire and made an unexpected pit stop which dropped him two laps down.

Big: On lap 148, AJ Allmendinger had a tire failure and got into the wall hard. He was running in 30th at the time. This marked the end of his race.

Big: On lap 180, Austin Dillon had a tire failure and then went to pit road. No caution came out. Dillon was running around the mid 20’s prior to his tire failure.

Big: On lap 182, Ty Dillon got into the wall and spun which brought out a caution. He was running around 27th at the time. This caution marked the end of Stage #2. It was speculated to be a tire issue once again.

Big: During the Stage #2 caution, Denny Hamlin had a flat tire which led to a long pit stop, dropping him from 1st to 11th. Kyle Larson also had a slow pit stop that dropped him from 4th to 18th.
