Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Daytona
Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran very well in his final Daytona 500. When you look at his 37th place finish you would never know it. In the race he led 8 laps and while he was leading Kyle Busch had a flat tire ahead of him which caused a “Big One” and Dale Earnhardt Jr. was caught up in the carnage.
Kyle Busch – Kyle Busch had a strong car in the Daytona 500. He won stage #1 and ran very well until he had a flat tire while leading the pack that caused a “Big One”, which led to his 38th place finish. Prior to wrecking he led 18 laps. In the two Daytona races prior to that he had results of 2nd and 3rd.
Kevin Harvick – Kevin Harvick arguably had the best car in the Daytona 500. He led the most laps, won stage #2, but was caught up in an accident while running near the front during the final stage that caused him to finish 22nd.
