All penalties upheld against Chad Knaus and the 48 team
Today NASCAR announced all penalties against the #48 team will be upheld.
The penalties were:
- Loss of 25 championship points
- Crew Chief Chad Knaus suspended for six weeks, fined $100,000, placed on probation until May 9
- Car Chief Ron Malec suspended for six weeks, placed on probation until May 9
NOTE: Chad Knaus will still be at Bristol because Hendrick Motorsports is further appealing this case.
