Total Driver Power Rankings: Week 5
New to ifantasyrace in 2012, the Total Driver Power Rankings will be a weekly post that is similar to ESPN’s Total QB Rating for the NFL. This isn’t a normal power rankings chart, nor is it a prediction for the upcoming race, but rather a combination of the two. Taken into account to arrive at TDR (Total Driver Rating) are previous history at the upcoming track, recent performance, and expert opinions, among many other variables.

how does a guy DOMINATE a race and drop two places in your “new” tdr standings? I know fontana is not the two’s best track but…..

Hi Hank,
I’m not privy to the top secret formula but his track record really stinks at Auto Club and I’m guessing that’s a large part of why he dropped.

What Ryan said. BK doesn’t even have a top 20 finish here at Fontana. If he wouldn’t have dominated last week he probably wouldn’t have even made it on the rankings this week.

Also, Bowyer jumped Keselowski in the standings and Mark Martin is back this week, also ranked higher than the Blue Deuce.
