- Chevy and Ford bumpers don’t seem to line up favorably for bump drafting
- Toyota to Toyota bump drafting causes minor damage to each other
- Denny Hamlin only tested on Thursday. He went back home for the birth of his child

- Carl Edwards appeared to be the only driver with a backup car for testing. This could be a sign Roush is pumping more resources into this team.
