Kansas STP 400 Practice #2 Notes

Jeff Gordon – His backup car is a brand new chassis. Missed track time getting his backup car ready. “Need to tighten it up”.

Kevin Harvick – Content with his car after a ten lap run. Harvick said his car was a little bouncy during his second run. Later he said it’s a touch tight on exit but better on throttle. Tried out some different shocks.

Mark Martin – Had adjustments made and said it’s a whole lot better. Sliding tires in 3 & 4

Brian Vickers – Gets looser and looser over long runs.

Jeff Burton – Practiced coming down pit road. Car is tight in the middle of turns.
