Dover FedEx 400 Fantasy NASCAR Mid Pack Predictions
Aric Almirola – Aric Almirola has dark horse / sleeper fantasy NASCAR potential. Last spring he was very good. He finished 6th and earned the 9th best driver rating. In the fall race he finished 19th. Beyond these two races he has no other starts at Dover. What I really like about his fantasy potential is the fact that he’s performed better overall this season. When you combine that with his past performance than he could potentially be good in the Dover FedEx 400. (Yahoo! B Driver)
Marcos Ambrose – Outside of road courses Dover is arguably his next best track. He finished 18th last fall but never really had a chance to improve his afternoon because the caution during the pit cycle effectively trapped him back in the field. In his next three most recent Dover races he’s finished 10th, 9th and 3rd. If you’re looking for a sleeper he’s certainly not a bad option for the Dover FedEx 400. (Yahoo! B Driver)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – In fall 2012 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished 12th at Dover. It should be noted though that he finished 3 laps down and had an 18th place average running position. In the FedEx 400 I think Stenhouse Jr. has solid fantasy value in his tier. In recent weeks he’s been getting stronger and traditionally Roush Fenway cars have ranked amongst the best at the Monster Mile. (Yahoo! C Driver)
