Car No Lap Incident
22 4 Joey Logano got turned around and hit the wall in turns 1 and 2, bringing out caution flag #1. Both left side tires were down when he headed to pit road, and he went to the garage soon after.
9 14 Running in the 20th position, Marcos Ambrose got a little loose, and later got spun by Kevin Harvick (caution flag #2). Casey Mears had nowhere to go, suffering significant damage to the front of his car. AJ Allmendinger also suffered a little damage trying to get by the wreck. Both Ambrose and Mears headed to the garage.
X X Allmendinger only lost two laps to repairs. When Ambrose eventually emerged from the garage, he was 24 laps down. Mears came back out 42 laps down.
11 74 Running 7th, Denny Hamlin had lugnut problems during a round of green flag pit stops. After coming back down pit road, Denny was in scored in the 28th position, one lap down.
55 77 Running 19th, Brian Vickers was penalized for equipment outside the pit box (stop and go penalty). He would drop to 32nd, one lap down.
C 78 Caution flag #3 (debris in turn 1).
22 94 Joey Logano emerged from a lengthy garage visit, 91 laps down.
11 122 Denny Hamlin blew a right front tire trying to fight for the “Lucky Dog”, bringing out caution flag #4. He stayed one lap down as a result.
C 154 Caution flag #5 (debris in turn 3).
C 202 Caution flag #6 (debris on the backstretch).
C 210 Caution flag #7 (debris in turn 2).
10 218 Running in the 26th position, Danica Patrick got spun in turn 2 by AJ Allmendinger, bringing out caution flag #8.
X 224 Battling just inside the Top 10, Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman get together, spinning both cars, and bringing out caution flag #9. Matt Kenseth also lost a number of spots trying to avoid the wreck, dropping to 28th for the restart. Newman suffered damage and headed to the garage. He would finish 39th. Busch’s car was hauled to the garage as well.
78 X Kurt Busch came out of the garage in the 35th position, 18 laps down.
5 235 Running inside the top 5, Kasey Kahne got out of line. He saved the car but it cost him valuable track position.
10 237 Racing for 22nd position, Danica Patrick got loose (possibly with some help), getting into the rear spoiler of Ricky Stenhouse, Jr, turning him into the wall, and bringing out caution flag #10. Travis Kvapil got caught up in the wreck as well.

24 259 Racing for 22nd position, Paul Menard got into the back of Jeff Gordon after some close-quarters racing, spinning the #24 Chevrolet out, and bringing out caution flag #11. Gordon was able to stay on the lead lap.
17 260 Ricky Stenhouse, Jr returned to the track, 20 laps off the pace.
47 293 After a surprising day running in the Top 10 for a good portion of the race, Bobby Labonte ran out of fuel, needing to pit under green, dropping to 27th, one lap down.
C 296 Caution flag #12 for debris.
GWC 300 Field was set G-W-C attempt #1.
14 300 Running 2nd, Tony Stewart ran out of fuel, plummeting him to a 26th place finish.
