Pure Michigan 400 Practice #1 Notes

Toyota’s across the board have increased their horsepower for this race.

Jamie McMurray – Engine blew up.

Austin Dillion – Driving the #14. Focused on race runs early. Switched to qualifying trim after 30 minutes.

Kyle Busch – Using this week as a “test and tune” for the Chase. Very happy with his car.

Aric Almirola – His car was very loose early in practice.

Marcos Ambrose – Had smoke coming from his left front wheel well. It was a loose oil line.
