Jimmie Johnson – Crashed and will start the race in the rear of the field in a backup car. His backup car is his Dover chassis from earlier this year. Got back out on track late in practice. His backup car lap  times weren’t bad.

Austin Dillion – Almost got into the wall early in practice. Fighting a tight condition.

Kevin Harvick – Good in 1 & 2, loose in 3& 4. Later he said he was horribly tight.

Danica Patrick – Said her car is a little tight.
