AAA Texas 500 NASCAR Practice #2 Notes
Clint Bowyer – Fast early in practice. Thinks he has a good car for tomorrow. Got into the wall slightly but it shouldn’t be a concern. His car around the mid point of practice was tight getting into the turn and tight rotating through it. At the end of practice he told his team he wanted the setup he used on Friday.
Martin Truex Jr. – His crew chief told him early in the session he was driving at a good pace. Around the mid way point he said his car was bouncing around.
Kevin Harvick – Loose on exit. In his third run he said his car was better in turns 3 & 4. Late in practice he made a long run and said his handling went away after 5 laps. During his last run he said his car was better.
David Gilliland – Tight into turn #1. Didn’t have that condition yesterday.
