Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Las Vegas #2 2024

Joey Logano – Joey Logano won last fall at Las Vegas but that’s an asterisk mark result. By no means did he have the best car. “Performance Wise”, Logano was top ten good but when I say that I mean he was likely about 8th to 10th place good.
Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson finished 11th last fall at Las Vegas but that’s a misleading finish since his race wasn’t incident free. It’s hard to say exactly how good Larson was but I would like to think he was top 5 good. In the race, Larson started 5th, damaged his nose at some point in Stage #1, finished 10th in Stage #1, pitted twice during the Stage #1 caution, then in Stage #2 under green, Larson made a lengthy pit stop and then the following lap, he pitted again, which now had him two laps down. In terms of speed stats, Larson had the 6th best Total Speed Ranking and ranked #1 for Speed Late In A Run.
Brad Keselowski – Last fall, Brad Keselowski looked like a top five contender in his short race but crashed in a “Big One” and finished 36th. In the race, Keselowski finished 5th in Stage #1 and then early in Stage #2 while running in 7th, he crashed in a multi-car wreck. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Keselowski ranked 8th.
Tyler Reddick – Tyler Reddick had a hot rod last fall at Las Vegas and looked to be a factor even though his race was short but finished a misleading 35th. In the race, Reddick won Stage #1, led 9 laps but then early in Stage #2 he was collected in the “Big One” which marked the end of his race. In terms of segment #1 speed, Reddick ranked 2nd.
