Daytona 500 Happy Hour Practice Notes

Jimmie Johnson – Said his new chassis is faster than the original chassis he was going to use. Had a little vibration. Didn’t practice drafting.

Denny Hamlin – Didn’t practice today. Happy with his car following Friday’s practice session.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Didn’t practice today.

Austin Dillon – Didn’t practice today. Did a shake up of his car in Friday’s practice sessions.

Jeff Gordon – Just did a few laps to shake down his car. Practiced leading a pack of cars.

Clint Bowyer – Went out to shake down his backup car and make sure everything is set. Ran seven laps and called it a day.
