Parker Kligerman – Said that they used the first practice session today as an experiment. In this practice session he had a loose condition.

Jimmie Johnson – Chad Knaus told Jimmie Johnson he was running solid lap times. The vibration he had earlier in the day was gone 15 minutes into the session. Tight in turns 3 & 4.

Austin Dillon – Loose off turn 4. Said the track got slicker as it got hotter.
