Denny Hamlin – No longer has vision problems. His car looks strong. In qualifying trim he ran at record speeds.

Carl Edwards – Started practice in qualifying trim because of the threatening weather.

Tony Stewart – Started off practice in race trim. Tried to test for this race but weather prevented it from happening twice. His car is loose on exit.

Aric Almirola – Said his car needed to roll through the center of the corner better.
