Jimmie Johnson – Happier with his car in Happy Hour. Said his car gets tighter as he runs.

Jeff Gordon – Focused on qualifying trim exclusively this session.

Greg Biffle – Was in qualifying trim this session. Said he didn’t have the speed he needs in race trim in an interview before Happy Hour.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Started practice in race trim. “We need to free it up or we’ll probably be too tight in one and two”. Said the track is coming to him.

Kevin Harvick – Was in race trim for the entire practice session. About half way through practice he said, “Definitely better that time”.
