Kurt Busch – Kurt Busch missed practice (At Indy). Parker Kligerman drove the 41 car.

Jimmie Johnson – Chad Knaus thought they were about .3 seconds off speed wise. Fought with his car all through practice.

Kasey Kahne – Thinks he turned the corner for the season after his Kansas performance.

Ryan Newman – Him and Casey Mears are using the same baseline setup this week. Too loose in his first run. Later he completed a long run and said he’s a little loose on the bottom. Turns better when he runs higher. He thinks his car has a good feel.
