Matt Kenseth – Started practice in race trim trying to get a baseline setup. Went to qualifying trim about 40 minutes into the session.

Kevin Harvick – Only focused on qualifying trim today. Was hitting his splitter during his first qualifying run. Free on exit.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – Started off in qualifying trim. Said his car seems to be quick.
