Jimmie Johnson – Sat out early in practice so the ARCA rubber would wear off. Focused 100% on qualifying setup. Wants his car to turn a little better in the center. Liked some changes done to his car around the end.

Kyle Larson – Doing double duty this weekend and is racing in the ARCA series. Focused on race setup and his car felt comfortable. His splitter was hitting the track a little bit. Went to qualifying trim about 25 minutes into the session. Recently Larson tested here.

Paul Menard – Said he needs more drive off.

Kevin Harvick – “Needs to turn just a touch better”. Went to qualifying trim 30 minutes into practice. Happy with his car in race trim.
