Danica Patrick – Ran into a tire barrier. Changed engines between practices. Will be going to a backup car.
Jeff Gordon – Has decent speed and is focusing on getting his balance better in Happy Hour.

Carl Edwards – Practiced half the session in race setup and the other half on qualifying trim. Has good speed and is fine tuning the balance. Has been free for much of the day.
Joey Logano – Looked very racy early. His car has been loose and sliding around.
Kasey Kahne – Missed the bus stop during his first lap because of some sort of transmission issue. Then his team started to change his transmission within the first 5 minutes.

Hello from the Glen! Not a lot to report extra. Kyle Busch and Ambrose seem to be the class.. McDowells car looked good among the small teams. Bowyer seemed pretty happy about his car. Kenseth not so much from what I could see after first practice. 99 was good in first practice. Menard seemed ok with his car.
