Richmond 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections – Federated Auto Parts 400

They could probably just name this Saturday night event at Richmond International Speedway “The Last Chance Race.” Any driver who hasn’t yet won in 2014 can do so this weekend to clinch the last Chase berth. Because of this, we could see a crazy finish, especially if tempers flare. Richmond is a 0.75-mile D-shaped short track that races more like an intermediate track. A good handling race car can make up for a lack of power under the hood, so that’s a good thing for teams that are somewhat down on horsepower (Roush-Fenway Racing). We saw back in the April race here that starting position isn’t overly important as all but one of the top 10 finishers started 12th or worse.

No Kevin Harvick in the top 20?

Thanks for the heads up. Just a simple numbering overlook.
